DFNDR Armor Level IIIA Handgun Plate Armor. Proudly Made in USA, the DFNDR Level IIIA handgun plate is extremely lightweight at 0.96 lbs (M). This plate is independently tested to stop multiple rounds of the .357 SIG and the .44 Mag SJHP. DFNDR Armor is engineered with the highest grade of ballistic materials; an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber bound with a resin matrix, to make it a rigid hard stand alone armor system. This plate is tested at muzzle velocity, mitigates spall, and has no deflection.

The DFNDR Level IIIA handgun plate is independently tested to meet and exceed NIJ specifications.
