HWI Nomex Heavyweight Hood. The HWH100 Nomex Heavyweight Hood was designed to provide heat and flame protection and comfort to the head and neck in tactical situations. It is made entirely of seven ounce heavyweight 100% Dupont Nomex®, a fire retardant material that will not sustain a flame. These properties have made Dupont Nomex® a requirement or standard in many industries such as firefighting, motorsports and industrial safety. It is ideal for heat and flash protection when deploying flash bangs.
